Education

• I received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Humanities with a double major in Spanish Language and Literature from Michigan State University in August of 2021. I also completed a minor in American Indian and Indigenous Studies during that time.

• Afterwards, I went back to Michigan State for a Masters of Arts in Education with two concentrations: P-12 Education and Higher and Adult Education Leadership and Sports Coaching and Leadership Concentration. I will graduate in August of 2023.​

Work Experience

• During my time in undergraduate I served as both a Residents Assistant and Student Success Mentor helping to develop my interpersonal skills.

• I began to work as a Teacher's Aide for the 2020-2021 school year.

• I also worked as a substitute teacher in the state of Michigan from 2018-2021.

• I then accepted a full time teaching position in Washington as a Middle School Spanish teacher from 2021-2023.

• Now I work as a Middle School STEAM teacher.

Hobbies

While not working, my family enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring. My husband and I have been to 6 National Parks and countless State Parks in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
